Layla Rose Blankenship started dancing at 20 months old. Layla has trained in many styles of dance: Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Lyrical; her favorites are Tap, Hip Hop, and Ballet/Pointe. She danced competitively for 11 years, 8 of which were at The Premiere Dance & PA in Bonner Springs, KS. She also danced and was an officer on the Piper Pearls Dance Team for 3 years and was ranked nationally for ADTS in 2023.

After graduating from Piper High School in 2024, she is attending the University of Missouri – Kansas City, majoring in Biology with a pre-med emphasis and Chemistry and Spanish minors. After her undergraduate studies, she plans on attending medical school with aspirations to become a pediatric surgeon.
