The hip hop competitive program is a separate program from the Dynamite Company Competition Dance Program and Tumbling Competitive Program. Still representing our studio throughout the company season, this program have separate requirements and the average MelRoe’s competitive dancer is NOT required to be a part of the hip hop competitive teams. Dancers are able to audition at our annual company auditions held in August. We also offer recreational and introductory hip hop classes.
Dancers who demonstrate diversity in movement and understand the need for enduring through different and challenging styles of choreography earn the privilege of being a part of the highest level of the hip hop competitive program – Square One.
Hyperminds are our Intermediate level group of dancers. Instructors typically move faster in this class, training the brain to pick up choreography faster and discovering one’s style in their movement. Hyperminds are trained and prepped to move into the advanced level (Square One).
We are so thrilled to welcome our newest team this year! These dancers represent the beginner level in this program. Instructors focus on the fundamentals of isolations, diversity in movement and style.
