Angelina began her dance journey at just 2 years old at MelRoe’s School of Dance, where she trained extensively in jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, tumbling, contemporary, lyrical, musical theatre, and pointe. She was
a proud member of the MelRoe’s Dynamite Company for 11 years, earning the title of Dancer of the Year in 2012 and Tumbler of the Year in 2018.
Her passion and dedication to dance opened the door to incredible opportunities early in her career. Angelina spent two years assisting at the Camp Pulse Convention, working alongside choreographers including Janelle Ginestra, Dave Scott, Miguel Zarate, and more. She then spent eight years as an assistant with the prestigious Tremaine Dance Convention, traveling nationwide and working alongside some of the industry’s top choreographers, including Tony Bellissimo, Christina Grady, Tiffany Maher, Meghan Sanett, Derrick Schrader, Keri LaGrand, and many others. She has also assisted with iPush, a Kansas City-based hip hop group led by Manual “Lukky” Harvey, for several years.
Angelina is a graduate of St. Pius X High School, where she was a four-year member of the dance team and served as captain her senior year. During her time on the team, she helped secure two Missouri State Championship titles in 2017 and 2018.
To further pursue her professional dance career, Angelina moved to Los Angeles, where she lived and trained for two years. While there, she performed as a backup dancer in music videos for local artists, completed a six-month mentorship under renowned choreographer Antoine Troupe, and was selected for Tia Rivera’s BTB Mentorship Program, Season 3. She also participated in the skeleton crew for 50 Cent’s Las Vegas residency and reached an exciting career milestone when she booked her first major role dancing for The Weeknd. Angelina has also performed as a backup dancer for Grammy Award-winning artist Toni Braxton.Her professional credits continue to grow. Angelina appeared as a backup dancer in Tech N9ne’s “Talk Up on It” music video and has performed at high-profile events including Kansas City Fashion Week and the 2025 Big 12 Tournament. In addition to her dance career, Angelina has an extensive background in modeling. She began modeling at the age of 4 and has worked on numerous projects throughout the Kansas City area and beyond. Her credits include commercials and campaigns for Gatorade, the Missouri and Kansas Lotteries, an Opioid Awareness Campaign, the University of Iowa magazine, local children’s clothing stores, and Colgate.
Angelina was also featured in a national modeling campaign for Conagra Foods, with advertisements appearing in major magazines across the country, including Redbook, Better Homes & Gardens, Good Housekeeping, and many others. Outside of dance, Angelina is a licensed esthetician at The Glam Room while continuing to pursue her passion for performance as an NFL cheerleader. With a lifetime of training, professional performance experience, and a deep connection to MelRoe’s, Angelina is thrilled to teach at the studio she has always called home. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experiences with her students and hopes to inspire, encourage, and empower the next generation of dancers to dream big and pursue their goals.
