Valencia began dancing at MelRoe's School of Dance at the age of 6 years old. She has danced for 14 years with 12 of those years being at MelRoe's. She has trained in jazz, tap, contemporary, ballet, and pointe. Valencia was apart of the MelRoe's Dynamite Company team for 10 years and received  Dancer of the Year Award in 2018. Valencia attended Liberty High School and was apart of the dance team for two years. Her team was ranked second in the nation for game day, and was also Missouri State Champions in 2020. Valencia has studied under many great teachers such as Joe Tremaine, Keri LaGrand, Tiffany Maher, Laurie Johnson, Derrick Schrader, and many more.  Valencia will be attending Maple Woods Community College and will be majoring in Elementary Education. Valencia is very excited to continue to be part of the MelRoe's family as a teacher and bring her experiences and expertise to the students!
